Kalaw to Pindaya ( One Day )

KALAW to PINDAYA - Cycling Day Tour  

The tour proposes to reach Pindaya from Kalaw passing by the small trading villages of  Myin Ka , Taung Ni , Painnepin  , Nawar Taung Monetary and Kyone after to reach Pindaya .

Star tour from our office in Kalaw , the cycling  tour start with a visit to Myin Ka Village ( 3 Km ) , From the village you will continue  to Painnepin Village ( 5 Km ) . Along the way, you will see amazing panoramic sceneries, the seasonal vegetable plantations, local people and their way of life.

From Painnepin Village ,  you will start biking on off road to Taung Ni (2miles/3Km) , After that continue to Nawa Taung Monastery (3miles/ 5Km)  .

After a stop at Nawar Taung Monetary for some refreshment and continue by trekking road to Kyone Village . (10 miles/16Km  )Along the way, you will see the villages and their ways of life.

After a short break at Kyone Village , you will continue your scenic ride to Pindaya (11 miles/18 Km). You will see the local way of transport along the road and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the colorful Shan plateau.

After a stop for lunch , there is an option to visit the famous Pindaya caves. Access either by lift or the hundreds of steps. Once on the top, it gives a fantastic panoramic view on the opposite hills, the town and the banyan trees. From the Shwe U Min Pagoda, starts a network of passages and caves with over 8 000 statues of the Buddha from different sizes and material. Most of the statues were brought by the pilgrims during the 18^th century.
